NAIDI PAJAMAS

BUYER GUIDE / 05

What should a brand check before approving a pajama sample?

Use this checklist to turn a sample review into a clear production decision. It helps clothing brands separate approved details from changes that still need confirmation.

Start with the correct sample version

Record the style, sample version, review date, fabric, colour, trims and labels. If a temporary component was used, mark it as open rather than approving it by accident.

Compare measurements using agreed methods

Review the measurement chart point by point. Record the target, measured result and agreed tolerance, and use the same garment position and method each time. One sample size does not confirm every graded size.

Review fit, movement and construction

Check the intended fit while standing, sitting and moving. Inspect seams, hems, closures, pockets, piping and label placement against the brief. Make every comment specific: identify the location, show a photograph and state the requested result.

Confirm fabric, trims and care direction

Compare the actual material and components with the agreed reference. Where wash testing or market-specific label checks are required, define them before bulk approval. A visual review alone is not proof of regulatory compliance.

Keep approvals separate from open questions

Use one review list with the item, observation, requested action, owner and status. Keep accepted details separate from changes needing another sample. Use our sample comment sheet to record measurements, photographs and requested revisions together.

Freeze the production specification

Before bulk handoff, confirm the approved sample version, measurement chart, fabric and trims, construction, label artwork, packaging and quantities. Review the sampling process and quality control approach alongside your final approval.
