NAIDI PAJAMAS

BUYER GUIDE / 12

What should a clothing brand approve before pajama bulk production starts?

A production handoff turns an approved sample into one controlled order reference. It connects the style, fabric, measurements, quantities, branding, packing, quality plan, payment and shipment release.

Record the approved version, status, owner, deadline, factory confirmation and buyer approval. Keep unresolved points marked pending.

1. Freeze the commercial order

Confirm style, colourways, quantity per style and colour, size breakdown, price, payment terms and destination. Standard MOQ is 100 pieces per style per colour. The actual quotation follows the style, fabric and process.

2. Identify the approved product reference

Name the approved sample version and link it to current construction details, measurement chart and comment history. Record accepted exceptions and mark superseded files.

3. Approve fabric, colour and trims

Record composition, construction, weight, stretch, finish, colour reference and approval requirements. List all trims. Availability and separate supplier minimums are confirmed against the brief.

4. Freeze measurements and grading

Use the brand-approved finished-garment chart with point codes, methods, targets, tolerances and grade rules. A general market size reference is not a production chart.

5. Approve labels, packaging and SKU data

Provide final artwork, wording, dimensions, material, colour and placement. Confirm folding, bags, stickers, barcode data, assortments and carton marks. The brand or importer confirms destination-market requirements.

6. Close open points with owners and deadlines

List unresolved decisions, requested changes and accepted deviations. Give each an owner, due date and status. Do not treat silence as approval.

7. Confirm the production start trigger and timing

Bulk timing begins after receipt of the 70% deposit: 15–25 calendar days for simple styles and 20–35 for complex styles, subject to confirmed materials, approvals and order plan.

8. Define quality checks and release evidence

Agree checks, targets, inspection method, defect handling and exception authority. Before shipment, production photos and videos are provided and the remaining 30% is payable. Third-party inspection applies only when separately agreed.

9. Release packing and shipment

Confirm packed quantities, assortments, carton marks, documents, shipping method, consignee data and booking responsibilities.

Who owns each part?

The buyer supplies and approves the brand brief, design intent, measurements, artwork, market requirements and commercial decisions. The factory reviews feasibility, records the agreed product, confirms sourcing and timing, manufactures against the approved reference and supplies agreed release evidence.
